FINANCING STUDENTS’ EDUCATION IN MANIPUR
STREET PROVIDENCE TRUST has pledged to support 300 Manipur school students in continuing their education. This support includes financial assistance for school and hostel fees, books, uniforms, and extracurricular activities. The cost per child has been calculated at Rs. 40,000/- per academic year.
To begin with, we intend to financially support 65 children in Ave Maria School.
Ave Maria School, Tumuyon Khullen (T. Khullen) Kangpokpi District, Manipur, is situated about 15 Km from the Kangpokpi District Headquarters.
- Established in the year 2019, the school is run by the Sisters of the Adoration of Blessed Sacrament (SABS).
- At present the school conducts classes from Nursery to Class VIII, with a strength of 430 students (plus the displaced new students).
- 65 Students mostly from economically weak families belong to Mao, Maram, Thangal, Nepali, Poumai and Kuki tribes have been selected for the scholarship.
