MANIPUR CRISIS
STREET PROVIDENCE DISTRIBUTES RELIEF MATERIAL AT KANGPOKPI RELIEF CAMP
Our volunteer team visited Manipur and delivered a consignment of Rs. 50,000/- worth of Ladies’ innerwear and 400 organic sanitary pads. The items were distributed in the Kangpokpi Relief Camp, at Industrial Training Institute, behind DC office, Kangpokpi on 1st July, 2023 by Street Providence volunteers based in Kangpokpi. 430 girls and women at the camp benefitted.
However, there’s still much more to be done as the displaced persons require food, clothing, financial assistance for educating their children, job opportunities for men and women, and medicines for the sick, elderly, and infants. Together, we can bring a ray of hope to their lives.
