TODAY FEEDS 3000 PKTS OF PRE COOKED MEALS WITHIN 3 HOURS RIGHT ACROSS GOA TO THE POOR.

22.10.2020 6pm IST
FOOD BANK FOR THE POOR SANGOLDA GOA today feeds 3000 pkts of pre cooked meals within 3 hours right across Goa to the poor.
Attached a sheet of the movement of meals and a couple of pictures.
Big big thanks to :
♡ 1. Our Heavenly Father for the clear weather inspite of a very disturbing forecast yesterday evening.
♡ 2. A family from Sinqierim whose grandchildren paid the entire bill in Thanksgiving on their grandmother death anniversary today.
♡ 3. The staff of Navtara who held their nerves against all odds and got these 3000 meals ready by 11.30am inspite of regular business at all their 6 outlets.
♡ 4. To all COURAGEOUS VOLUNTEERs who gave their time, took the risk and spent their own fuel to move these 3000 pkts.
Actually we moved 2900 pkts today and 100 are going tomorrow as one of our volunteers who is a retired professor had a class today and with due respect to him , we allowed him to serve the 100 pkts tomorrow.
For me it's making the volunteer happy and respect his intentions, not the achievement.
We distributed food across entire Goa to :
☆ 1. HIV infected people & families 601             pkt
☆ 2. Old aged homes 370 pkts
☆ 3. Our food banks 500 pkts at :
Velim , San jose de areal , Old Goa
☆ 4. Street and deserving people 429                  pkts at :Nagoa , Mapusa                               ,Curchoren, Savordem;
          Margao, Panjim
☆ 5. John and his 10 member team 1000 pkt who covered Salcette & Quepem.
Thanks to all donated , we have about 1000 meals money which will be used for NOVEMBER 2020 when we attempt to FEED 6000 MEALS in 4 hours flat .
It's all team work and Gods Favour .
Thanks to Navtaras concept of
” Pay it forward coupons system ” , we are able to run these food bank feeding programs .
Quite a many meals went to people who used to get food daily from our food bank fridges which were running till 20.3.2020.
The lockdown took away alot of that food which used to come to our various food bank fridges.
We are standing with these poor people and re assuring them that once the Covid subsides and business is back our food bank fridges will be back on track .
You too can play your part.
Celebrate your :
♡ Wedding anniversary
♡ Birthday
♡ Death anniversary
♡ Special moments
     Etc
In feeding a warm cooked prepacked meal to a needy or elderly person.
In November 2020 , 6000 meals are going to be served and we require to test NAVTARA and their staff again .
Today In 2 outlets of Navtara , ie Malbhat & Ktc Margao , each outlet had to deliver 1000 pkts each and i was told today by Aditya the owner that they never ever did 1000 pkts meals in 1 day in any outlet.
I also need to drive and motivate all our active volunteers to do that 6000 meals in 4 hours for November 2020.
Supoort us in whatever way you can .
We accept donations only by Cheque / NEFT along with your pan card copy .
We offer you 80G EXEMPTIONS on all your donations.

FOOD BANK FOR THE POOR SANGOLDA GOA IS EXCITED AND FAVOURED TODAY AND TOMORROW FOR THESE REASONS

21.10.2020 7pm IST
FOOD BANK FOR THE POOR SANGOLDA GOA is excited and favoured today and tomorrow for these reasons :
♡ 1. Today is our trustee Adv Caroline birthday.

♡ 2. Today we are inaugurating another food bank fridge at Panjim @ Piedade Institute.

♡ 3. Tomorrow we are attempting to feed 3000 per packed cooked meals across Goa within 3 hours flat .
☆ 1. Adv Caroline our trustee, celebrates her birthday today and we decided to do something special and we got her to cut the ribbon of a food bank fridge which we are starting at Panjim @ Pieade Institute .
Adv Caroline has been a wonderful support inspite of her hectic schedule both as an high court advocate as well as an activist fighting for multiple issues especially for the poor and the environment.
☆ 2. We today inaugurate our food bank fridges at PIEDADE Institute @ panjim which is run by FMCK sisters headed by Sr Elizaberth.
Thanks to Sapnesh and his team for all the preparations to get this fridge running .
Located in the heart of the city , this fridge will be open between 8 am to 7 pm incase any one wants to drop food.
The sisters of FMCK who reside at Piedade institute have and are identifying families where this food will be given in bulk.
Few days back in panjim, Rinton Dsouza with his friends Amogh Fulari & Anees Shaikh started a similar fridge at SHAMSUDIN & CO , a store owned by Anees Shaik, near the panjim church and that makes us all understand that hunger can be fought by all reaching out through such fridges.
Requesting more youngsters to install such fridges in different cities of Goa as food bank concept is not any ones patent .
Any one can install and run a food bank fridge.
You, your family, friends will be blessed abundantly if you can feed the poor and the hungry especially now during the COVID.
FMCK Congregation as a Society have been running 3 fridges of ours for the last couple of years
One at Old Goa which works 24 * 7 and did not shut down even during the lockdown.
The nuns at Old Goa are committed to feeding alot of goan poor families who are given food everyday.
One at Pombpurpa took at break from march till sept due to the lockdown but otherwise this fridge provides food over the last few years to alot of poor migrant families in that area .
Cavelossim fridge we shut down at the FMCK home as most of the nuns there were senior citizens and we already lost a couple of our food bank volunteers from other food bank fridges due to COVID.
Most of our food bank volunteers are senior citizens and from march 2020 we are not putting any pressure on those food bank volunteers to feed as the risk is too high .
Street Providence and FMCK under the leadership of the Provincial, Sr Vandana , are also running a home for homeless street woman in Saligao .
It's good to have some one who understands both hunger and homelessness and it's even more special when a religious congregation works and adjusts with lay common people like us .
Always great to have a COMPASSIONATE & UNDERSTANDING PROVINCIAL like Sr Vandana .
One of our mens home for homeless street men is also in a home owned by FMCK but run by our care givers at cavelossim.
☆ 3. Tomorrow we are attempting to distribute and feed 3000 people a pkt of pre cooked food within flat 3 hours and its possible only due to VOLUNTEERS .
These all 3000 pkts will be from Navtara group of Restaurants and will be taken by our volunteers from all their outlets at the same time .
Last month we did 1560 pkts of food in flat 2 hours again all from NAVTARA
This time thanking God that the weather holds up and the meals can move quickly so as to reach the people

These food pkts are being given to :
▪︎Old aged homes,
▪︎Marginalized section of our goan                 people,
▪︎600 meal to HIV infected people &               families,
▪︎Street people,
▪︎People who were getting food through       our food banks earlier .
We at the food bank don't only feed the hungry, but we also pick and accept homeless street people from the streets through Goa Police Only and these people both ladies and gents are housed in our homes.
We provide them 3 meals, clothes , medication and free full time rehabilitation.
In November 2020 we will be attempting to feed 6000 meals in 4 hours across Goa .
We have already received for the month of November 1000 meals donation .
This program of feeding meals to HIV infected families and marginalized sections of society is a perfect opportunity for those wishing to celebrate their :
☆ Wedding anniversary ,
☆ Death anniversary ,
☆ Special moments ,
☆ Functions .
We are totally depending only on donations.
Your support is extremely important to Street Providence to do what best we are called to do .
Support us in any way you wish .
Especially if you are a nurse or a doctor either from North Goa or South Goa as we have homes in both North & South and we rescue people from the streets all over Goa.
We accept donations though cheque/ NEFT
We offer 80 G exemptions on all your donations along with your pan card copy.

CALLING ALL NGO’s TO COME UNDER ONE UMBRELLA in GOA.

20.10.2020  10am IST
CALLING ALL NGO’s TO COME UNDER ONE UMBRELLA in GOA.
NGOs are usually registered under 2 sections:
Society &
Trust.
If you are running any shelter home for people / human beings  then we all can work together, even if you are yet to be registered but you will need to be registered.
In these difficult COVID pandemic times, STREET PROVIDENCE calls upon all NGO’s in Goa to come together as One Entity to help :
☆ The homeless/ Destitute men and               women,
☆ Street children,
☆ Single parent with children,
☆ unwed mothers,
☆ uncared for senior citizens,
☆ The marginalized and the vulnerable           groups of society.
☆ HIV infected homeless people .
STREET PROVIDENCE TRUST , GOA as the umbrella organization invites all NGOs to join us on the whatsapp group to be formed where the interest of all member NGOs will be looked into.
Just 1 member from each Society / Trust will be added to this WhatsApp group .
This member can then report back to the your parent Society / Trust and be the link between the WhatsApp group.
STREET PROVIDENCE on its part will help all the member organizations.
ADVANTAGES of working under one umbrella are as follows:
▪︎1. To improve performance and enhance the positive impact.
▪︎2. To eliminate duplicate efforts by NGO’s.
▪︎3. Optimum utilization of scattered and limited funds / resources.
▪︎4. Since many NGOs are small and dispersed, networking is a cost-effective means of sharing information and spreading knowledge about grassroots’ needs, solutions and best practices.
▪︎5. Strengthen NGO’s ability to speak with one voice and to significantly increase their impact as policy negotiators and advocating agencies.
▪︎6. Every NGO has its own specialized man-power / expertise to handle situations.  This expertise can be shared for the mutual benefit of all members.
▪︎7. Almost all NGO’s have a good rapport with various Government Departments and other Offices. This goodwill could be utilized to help other members.
▪︎8. Information regarding Government schemes available could be exchanged and procedures for applying for same could be shared for mutual benefit.
▪︎9. A ready reckoner of each individual NGO’s services would help other member organizations to know and recommend when their services are needed.
▪︎10. Resources or excess items can be shared. – Example – An organization owning an ambulance can lend it to member organization for their use.
▪︎11. Programs could be jointly organized thereby reducing need for manpower and  resources.
▪︎12. Genuinely needed funds / resources like food, medicines, clothes, groceries etc could be organized through joint efforts and by sharing.
To sum it up, a very cordial relationship will be maintained to ensure every member NGO will receive all the help needed to run their programmes to the optimum.
The Success of this “super network” can only be achieved if all member NGO’s are : willing to be honest,
straight forward,
to tolerate differences and
to work for consensus on key points.
Every NGO will be required to rehabilitate a minimum of ONE homeless man/woman/child/unwed mother every month depending on its mission.
Support whether monetary or otherwise will be provided where ever possible to help in caring for these new admissions.
We want NGOs to look after just 1 homeless person for which you will be reimbursed a very basic amount .
The main aim here is to provide a HOME to each and every HOMELESS man/ woman/child/unwed mother.
If any NGO is interested in being a part of this, kindly share your NGO details with me on my whatsapp number to 8380097564.
A whatsapp group will be formed and all information will be posted there.
Since we are offering rehabilitation free of cost to the homeless which otherwise should have been done by the State , we will request the CM to appoint :
☆ 1. A senior police official of the rank of Dysp and above to assist in police matters.
☆ 2. A senior Doctor of the rank of HOD/ MS to assist us in medical admission if need arises for treatment and hospitalization of these homeless people.
☆ 3. A person from the Revenue dept to assist in documentation and obtaining legal documents for these homeless people.
☆ 4. A nodal officer to assist this group In case there are any other issues.
Since we as NGOs are doing  the work which the State is suppose to do , by offering free rehabilitation for the poorest of the poor , this umbrella can be the link between the State and us as NGOs.
After all there is nothing to loose in trying something new .
Am not sure if there is any ASSOCIATION OF NGOs like they have for shacks, hotels, etc.
If not then its time we have an  ASSOCIATION of NGOs.
You can forward this messages to those running :
♡ Old aged homes
♡ Shelter homes
♡ Children homes
♡ Etc.
There are more than 300+  homes in Goa,  majority providing paid shelter and care.
If these 300 + homes, volunteer to accept just 1 homeless person per time we can eradicate homelessness in Goa and this model can successfully across India and in all major cities .
A little food , a single bed , a small sacrifice in accepting just 1 homeless person will surely bring a 100 fold to your NGO and your family.
Besides once that homeless person rejuvenates and Is back on his feet , you as the NGO can utilise that person in your home to assist your NGO.
Covid is the time to open up and reach out to the poorest of the poor.
Please all queries and communications if needed strictly through whatsapp only on 8380097564.
No calling please
Please read the message again and again incase you did not understand in the 1st reading.
God bless you all

HOMELESS BOY WALKS 1000 KMS TO GOA 6 YEARS BACK

14.10.2020 7 pm IST
Homeless Boy walks 1000 kms to Goa
6 years back , today is dropped home by a car and reunited with his family .
On 12.10 .2020 we had uploaded about ☆ MR SUDHEER KUMAR ☆who has been with us last 3 years in our home after we found him on the streets.
Yes it was close to 6 years at the age of 23 years that Sudheer ran away from home and walking reached GOA.
Through various people who followed our post, forwarded the post and the address, Sudheer father called me yesterday and was happy to learn that his only son is alive and agreed to come down to Goa and take him back.
Today they reached Goa and have left back to GUNTUR in Andhra Pradesh just now at 6.30pm
We hired a car to take SUDHEER back as the transport facility at the moment is not back in place.
Bill has to be paid.
After all he walked and came to GOA.
It makes us all happy @ Street Providence that we were able to shelter Sudheer as well as reunite him with his family .
This is what we are proud off .
Otherwise in our homes, besides sick , old , infirmed people, etc there is nothing exciting to look forward too.
Its just service to these homeless men.
But finding and reuniting a lost son with his father is what we are excited about.
Big thanks to all our current & former
 ☆ Trustees,
☆ Care givers
☆ Volunteers
Who played their part in the life of SUDHEER in the last 3 years
I am told that the homeless men kept many weird names for SUDHEER as he just refused to speak in the last 3 years.
But that's the past.
Today he is back to Being a
♡ NEW CREATION ,
THE OLD SUDHEER HAS GONE &
THE NEW SUDHEER HAS COME ♡
Of course once he settles down with his parents we will be able to understand more of how and why he left home.
There was a time we would go around Goa picking such homeless unclean men but now due to the pandemic we have slowed down.
Once again support us in our service in Goa towards the homeless and street people .
Imagine how many such more men are out there, lost , lonely, waiting for eternity, harassed, mocked, taunted , stoned , beaten and hounded all the time .
Your donations, blessing , contributions make us go beyond our expectations.
We offer you income tax exemptions on all your donations under section 80G.

MR SUDHEER KUMAR SIRIPURAM VILLAGE , GUNTUR DISTRICT , ANDHRA PRADESH

We need to get this boy back to Siripuram village , Guntur District , Andhra Pradesh.
12.10 .2020 6pm IST
STREET PROVIDENCE TRUST GOA is proud to be able to get this once a upon a time homeless boy , MR SUDHEER KUMAR back on track after being in total depression..
♡ Sudhir was picked up from the vicinity of the Holy Spirit Church Margao almost 3 years back all because of the effort of our food bank volunteer from margao Mrs Maria Ana.
Sudheer Kumar never ever spoke from the time we picked him.
Only shook his head when spoken to.
But well educated and understands English, Hindi and Telugu .
The only time we heard him Speak was in early 2018 when he answered a few questions in Telugu to another man who spoke Telugu.
Sudheer ran away from home a few years back and walked from Hyderabad and reached Goa .
He has a family in Siripuram village , Guntur District , Andhra Pradesh.
This is all he told us .
When we picked him up he was very very unclean and dazed .
Irritated the care givers alot as he would only eat and sleep and daze into oblivion.
Would work a little out of disgust.
Anyway , we kept rotating him house to house to avoid the frustration level of the cars givers.
But never did we ask him to leave our home nor did he ever attempt to run away .
That meant he was active in his mind .
Sudheer was alive in body but no one actually bothered about him as everybody had their own things to do.
He was one of the crowd who you just could not get anything out off.
But WE WERE ALL PROVED WRONG.
God had better plans for SUDHEER.
Last 7 days , Sudheer has started talking and reacting to all our communications.
He even wrote his full address and now wishes to be reunited with his family .
Watch the 1 min video
We are using this message to get to his family at the below address : 👇
☆ Sudheer kumar,
Medikondur mandal,
Siripuram village ,
Guntur District ,
Andhra Pradesh
We just tried to live with Sudheer and he too lived with us .
But he would listen to the CD playing
THE WORD , non stop and that is what I believe pulled him out of depression and into this current state where he remembers everything and his past.
He is now in our margao house.
Incase any TELUGU assiciation or any TELUGU SAMAJ can locate his family back home please do.
We would have driven him back to his village but due to the pandemic the risk is too high .
If we put him in the train and he does not reach home , then it will be waste of 3 years effort.
Each of our men in our homes have a unbelievable past .
Yet we strive to deliver the best with the little we have .
Its all the GRACE OF GOD AND HIS FAVOUR
We are just the tools and we dont claim any credit for the results.
These services are tough yet achievable.
I always motivate my volunteers and care givers with the suggestion ” put yourself in their place , besides we have the set up , let's try , you never know when times might reverse the situations”.
Imagine how many such more men are out there, lost , lonely, waiting for eternity, harassed, mocked, taunted , stoned , beaten and hounded all the time .

PRESENTS OUR TEAM WHICH TAKES CARE OF 2 BIG HOMES IN SOUTH GOA

6.10.2020 7pm IST
STREET PROVIDENCE TRUST GOA presents our team which takes care of 2 big homes in South Goa and approx 60 homeless street men plus collection and movement of food daily to feed 300 to 400 meals.
Running a complex and ever growing operation at Street PROVIDENCE is not an easy task nor is it a 1 man show .
We @ Street Providence believe in team work and we are grateful to our VOLUNTEERS.
Volunteers who come day after day , month after month without expecting anything but desiring and really doing good for the poorest of the poor , the hungry, the sick, the homeless. ( And at times the only thing the volunteers get from me is a shout)
Especially during this COVID period where any wrong step can be disastrous , these men in the picture attached have stuck to their assigned duties and supported Street Providence.
Most of our Trustees & volunteers @ Street Providence have no EGO and dont believe in any titles.
They believe only 1 thing ” do good and expect nothing from Donald , but surely reward is coming from God “.
No volunteer is made to believe or understand that they are working for Donald , but rather they conclude they are working out of their love and Thanksgiving for whatever they have in life , towards the poorest of the poor .
Picture of Our team in SOUTH GOA .
Left to right :
♡ Bartholomew
♡ John
♡ Orlando
♡ Freddy
♡ Sapnesh
☆ 1. Bartholomew ( from Seraulim ) incharge of all hospital trips be it to :
▪︎GMC ,
▪︎IPHB ,
▪︎District hospital margao ,
▪︎TB hospital
▪︎Private clinics
He never says no .
One of the most risky jobs when u take our homeless men to hospitals .
Yet Bartholomew is there, never gives excuses .
Looking after homeless sick people is related to hospital and treatment in any shelter home .
And this the worst service, but we are forced to give it even if we don't want to .
Mind you, Bartholomew takes to hospital men with various sickness like :
▪︎HIV
▪︎TB
▪︎Fresh wounds for dressing
▪︎Unsound mind
▪︎Incapicated men with diapers
▪︎Bed ridden
▪︎Etc.
Thanks to Bartho for filling the gap .

☆ 2. John Baptist ( from FATORDA) serves breakfast daily all 7 days at 7.30 am in front of the hospital in Margao .
Inspite of the rain, pandemic, etc , John is there.
Also John provided free service in our 2 homes in south goa by doing our electrical and plumbing work .
John is the handy man for us in south GOA, anything and everything ( if you cant find a solution) call John .
Quite and cool dude .
☆ 3. Orlando ( from Benaulim also known as OLLY ) has been with us for close to 3 years now.
Takes care of our all maintenance and civil work .
Also looks after our Cavelossim home on a daily basis.
Incase any donations , material, grains etc have to be picked up from anyone residence in South Goa , we count on Orlando.
Always smiling and ready to go that extra mile .
☆ 4. Freddy ( from Nagercoil ) is our Trustee and stays full time in our Margao home .
A very very cool and pleasant man .
Left his construction business in Nagercoil , Tamil Nadu to work for the poorest of the poor in Goa.
☆ 5. Sapnesh ( from Mapusa) is our operation incharge for entire Goa .
Everything goes through him as he has been over 5 years with me .
Understands my mind very well.
Knows exactly what I have in mind even before I finish the sentence.
All these 5 men work in South Goa among themselves without disturbing me.
Very rarely am I troubled by these 5 men.
I am blessed to have such a wonderful team to take away all the load from me .
This is how we have managed to grow and reach out to so many people through so many projects inspite of the COVID and inspite of donations slowing down by operating through TEAM WORK .
Here at Street Providence eveything is very transparent and no one is the boss .
You come, do your part and get that blessing from God for you and your family.
We are still looking for more volunteers both ladies and gents who want to do good for the poorest of the poor across Goa .
All our communication and operations are strictly conducted through WhatsApp ( and that's the beauty of Street Providence ) between the volunteers and me .
I operate strictly through WhatsApp messages only on 8380097564.
No calling please .
Keep our volunteers in mind and pray that they enjoy good health.
God bless you all

PLEASE HELP US TO LOCATE THIS GOAN MAN FAMILY .

5.10.2020 6pm IST
Please help us @ STREET PROVIDENCE TRUST GOA Goa to locate this Goan man family .
♡ SANTAN MONSERATE Is a goan by birth and has been In our home for the last 9 months if I am not mistaken.
The issue is , he does not want to stay and is not sure where he wants to go .
I am not sure how he reached our home as non of our care givers remember his arrival into our home.
Cant hear very well and does not speak much .
Also his eye site is failing him .
Mumbles about staying in the hospital all the time .
Has to be forced to have a bath .
Says he is from the ISLAND that can be
Chorao, Divar , St Estevem or Malhar in Goa.
No one has come to see him ever nor has any one called to inquire about him .
My issue is he should not leave this World as an UNKNOWN .
Besides we dont have any papers of him.
Quite weak too.
Incase any one recognizes him and his any living family member let he know .
If they wish , they can take him home or he can stay with us .
But after he leaves this World , please don't come searching for him .
You will get nothing from me ( but only Bill's to be paid that too with interest charges incase the relatives are looking for his death certificate ).
I observe quite often, whenever such abandoned goan people who leave this world as homeless are buried or cremated, next day , some relative, blood relation drops by asking for the death certificate.
Its really frustrating .
I mean u know the person is alive in our home yet you do not drop by to visit, to inquire, to pay the expenses , but once dead you have the courage to drop by for the death certificate.
We are ready to look after such homeless men , but whoever admits them should atleast call or come to visit.
If you know such abandoned lonely goan men who are need of shelter let us know .
We will study case to case and help if really alone and abandoned.
Remember getting any homeless person off the streets in today's time means spending on treatment, medication, hospital trips, fuel , etc .
We are totally depending only on donations.
Your support is extremely important to Street Providence to do what best we are called to do .
Support us in any way you wish .
Especially if you are a nurse or a doctor either from North Goa or South Goa .
We accept donations though cheque/ NEFT
We offer 80 G exemptions on all your donations along with your pan card copy.

And just yesterday 2.10.2020 , on the occasion of  GANDHI JAYANTI , we admitted a Goan homeless lady who was rescued by GOA POLICE @ Anjuna Police station.
Has been on the streets of Goa for more than 5 years.
Has a child who is about 10 years old .
Veru sad past which will make you shed tears .
( Attached a 1 min video )
Big thanks PSI AMIR @ Anjuna Police station for trying alot with many homes to accommodate this lady .
But due to covid, she just could not get a place .
Usually we are the last resort , PSI Amir called me , I consented,  Psi did the paperwork, also the COVID test which was negative and we accepted this goan homeless lady.
We always try to say yes when there is no alternative to shelter.
Even if we dont have space,  I still say yes and then the inspiration  from God comes to call and request our associate homes to kindly admitt.
And its always been a yes .
Admitted this goan homeless lady into our associate ladies home to be looked after,  as long as she decides to stay.
We @ Street Providence help in rehabilitating of homeless street children, men & women but all through the legal way & through the Goa Police and through our various associate homes .
I mean in this pandemic if we as shelter homes say no to admission then what else is left.
And what a better way to be recognized and supported .
STREET PROVIDENCE is very grateful to our Goan brothers & sisters in New York for helping the marginalised in Goa.
Once again a big THANK YOU to
The Goan Association of New York &
The Goan Assication of New Jersey .
Enjoy the evening with music by A26.
