We go beyond just feeding.
We also rehabilitate the old , sick , the desperate both men , ladies and children.

Blessing on all these volunteers who brave the Covid and feed the hungry.
All these are freshly prepared and we pay for these meals
It's all about feeding daily.
And there is a cost.
God will inspire you to come forward and pay our Bills.
Be it :
▪︎before the COVID ,
▪︎during the lockdown and
▪︎after the lockdown was lifted,
we have been feeding the hungry and homeless as well as picking people from the streets of Goa and providing rehabilitation.
( We just dont Pop up for some time, ask for donations, create some fancy social media posters , collect donations and then disappear into some other activity. )
Trying to get MOW running across all 14 municipalities of GOA catering to almost 1000 homeless people who might just be waiting for that meal to satisfy their hunger.
By January 2021 there should be no hungry homeless person eating from any dustbin in Goa as we might be coming with a WhatsApp proposal where you spot in the 14 municipalities eating from a dustbin and our volunteer will feed them .
Still working on that plan .
The festive season has started.
Support us in our food bank program by donating either through CHEQUE / NEFT or IN KIND.
Give cheerfully as we enter the season of Christmas.
Feed the homeless and hungry and blessings will surely follow you .
Sow generously as you have been blessed abundantly as compared to the hungry and homeless. ( stock market reached 44000 ).
We offer you income tax exemptions on all your donations under section 80G.

STREET PROVIDENCE WILL NO LONGER BE OPERATING FROM THE PORVORIM OFFICE AT SAPANA GARDEN, ALTO PORVORIM, BARDEZ , GOA.

22.11.2020 10pm IST
Since inception in 2017, STREET PROVIDENCE has always put cost effectiveness at the center of our plans to achieve alleviating Hunger and Homelessness on a large scale.
Presently STREET PROVIDENCE has a number of ongoing programmes like :
☆ Food bank fridges ,
☆ Fre Breakfast outside government               hospital,
☆ MEALS on WHEELS (MOW) lunch &            dinner,
☆ DRY RATIONS for 250 HIV+ patients           and their families ,
☆ SHELTER HOMES serving as a home to      over 100 homeless men and women,
☆ Water banks,
☆ Medicines and clothes bank .
☆ Etc.
Every programme is designed on a low cost model, to ensure that maximum number of meals, medicines and dry rations are served to the homeless and needy within an affordable budget.
Starting from November 1st, 2020, STREET PROVIDENCE will no longer be operating from the Porvorim Office at SAPANA GARDEN, ALTO PORVORIM, BARDEZ , GOA.
The reasons are numerous :
▪︎1. Our office is situated in the heart of Alto Porvorim with a lot of movement of tourists in and around the vicinity of the office.

▪︎2. Inmates and staff need to visit the office for various administrative reasons and there is always the lurking fear of one of them carrying the virus back to the Shelter Home which would cause an immense problem.

▪︎3. In view of cutting down on the rent of the office space, it was decided to have a virtual office and all logistical instructions would be dispensed on the phone, resulting in a saving on the rent of the office space till we find or are given to use another office either free of cost or at a very Norminal rate.
The cooperation of all our staff and volunteers is what assures us of a successful transition.
Having said that, if you have an :
Unused residence,
office space or
accommodation in BARDEZ area only  ( priority porvorim, sangolda , ) and are willing to permit STREET PROVIDENCE to use and bring all operations under one roof, thereby minimizing our transportation cost,
please whatsapp DONALD FERNANDES @ 8380097564/ 7020314848.
Without YOU, we could never have reached out to so many Homeless, sick, naked and hungry people.
In the coming Month of Dec 2020 ( max New Year Jan 2021 ) we are starting a couple of new projects targetting 20000 + poor goan families across Goa and storage space is a big issue .
You and your family can experience the blessings from the poorest of the poor by supporting us with a place to run our office as well have a storage facility for :
☆ Clothes
☆ Medicines
☆ Dry ration
☆ Etc.
God bless you

WITH GOA POLICE BRING THIS YOUNG HANDSOME BOY / MAN OFF THE STREETS AT PONDA GOA

21.11.2020 8pm IST
STREET PROVIDENCE TRUST GOA along with Goa Police bring this young handsome boy / man off the streets at Ponda Goa .
This morning 8.30 am I received a call and pictures from Mr R.D.Sharma who runs a factory in Sancoale and stays in Vasco about this homeless man on the streets of Ponda.
Watch the 90 seconds video and see how 1 precious life was transformed because that lady and Mr Sharma felt compassion .
Mr Sharma followed the instructions and got Ponda Police involved which did a superb job at lightening pace and brought him to our home.
♡ Thanks to Psi Mr Narayan Pinge @ Ponda Police station for going out of his way and completing the :
☆ Covid test
☆ Basic medical report &
☆ Preparing a NOC
And then dropping Mr Monty into our home 40 kms away from the police station.
I am told a lady who spotted Mr Monty had requested Mr R D Sharma to get Monty of the streets as she could not see him suffering on the streets .
Infact 15 days ago the same man's video was sent to me by Chetan from Ponda requesting for help.
But that time Mr Monty just walked away .
Today was Monty day as :
God always had better plans for Monty,
for his welfare and
not for his destruction.
Monty was cleant, bathed , hair cut , shaved and dressed with new clothes.
See the difference.
Next week we will get him examined at IPHB to see what exactly is his mental state.
Monty is quite co operative and silent.
It's the festive season and we @ Street Providence are determined to get help to such abandoned homeless off the streets of Goa as that's what Christmas to STREET PROVIDENCE is about .
But we cant do it all alone.
We cant just run around Goa.
You can always sacrifice your time and effort, follow instructions and rest Goa Police will take it forward.
Its wonderful having Goa Police supporting us in getting so many homeless, abandoned people of the streets of Goa .
Come support us at Street PROVIDENCE in rehabilitating homeless street people in Goa.
Your support is very important to keep us going on and on .
Your donations, blessing , contributions make us go beyond our expectations.

FOR THE 3rd STRAIGHT MONTH DISTRIBUTES RATION TO 250 FAMILIES SUFFERING FROM INFECTION UNDER OUR ASHA PROJECT .

18.11.2020 10am IST
FOOD BANK FOR THE POOR SANGOLDA GOA for the 3rd straight month distributes ration to 250 families suffering from infection under our ASHA PROJECT .
Yes….We sent out dry ration for the month of November 2020 just before Diwali with the support of you Benefactors to 250 such families across Goa.
We have collaborated with 3 other NGOs who are already working with these families for many years namely :
♡ Zindagi Goa , Mr Mahesh Govekar
♡ Presentation Society , Sr Deepti
♡ Udant , Mrs Anita Pereira

The above 3 NGOs and their staff distribute the same to families in their respective areas right across Goa and we are very thankful to them for all the trouble they all take .
Not an easy job to pack , sort and distribute especially during COVID 19.
But these 3 NGO are doing a fantastic job .
With a monthly bill of close to Rs 2 lacs for this ASHA PROJECT , we have managed to pull in benefactors who have generously donated and who are always ready to donate generously.
And when u donate remember it goes to the poorest of the poor and that is how you are blessed.
Image close to 800 people getting dry ration from these 250 kits .
I am told that these families at times call the above 3 NGO asking when they can expect the ration in case its delayed .
At times we delay in sending the bulk ration, at times the supplier delays or it can be the packing is not completed.
But we are committed to providing dry ration to these 250 infected people month after month.
God will pay the Bill's through you, our benefactors.
Attached a small video of the complete process right from offloading the stock till the final kit is distributed.
It's the festive season and it's the time of GIVING AND SHARING .
Support us in any way you wish .
We feed daily and directly to the poorest of the poor .
We offer you income tax exemption under SECTION 80G on all your donations
We accept donation only thru cheques / NEFT along with your pan card copy.

A NGO, running purely on Volunteers & many silent faithful Benefactors is what I can say about Street PROVIDENCE.

GETS OFF THE STREETS OF MAPUSA 2 GOANS, BADLY SUFFERING FROM SCABBIES & WHO WERE DESPERATE FOR A HOME TO STAY.

12.11.2020 5pm IST
MOW ( Meals on Wheels ) effect .
Homeless men got off the streets while feeding by our MOW volunteer.
STREET PROVIDENCE TRUST GOA gets off the streets of Mapusa 2 goans, badly suffering from SCABBIES & who were desperate for a home to stay.
♡ Mr Surya & Mr Walty ( very very badly affected) are 2 goan men who previously stayed with us , got rehabilitated , left our home to face the world and yet came back to the streets.
All due to Alcohol .
And we have to restart the process.
Our MOW volunteer , Mr Napolean while feeding in mapusa observed that these 2 men , Surya & Walty are really suffering from serious SCABBIES and if not rehabilitated in time can turn fatal.
Now SCABBIES is very contagious but
I just can't refuse to help.
Look at the pictures attached.
You can actually see the skin affected.
Its festive season and how can these 2 goan men going to survive in the streets while we all are celebrating.
On 2nd thoughts , if I accept them , I need to be sure :
▪︎1. It does not spread to others in the               home.
▪︎2. We require isolation rooms.
▪︎3. There is endless trips to hospitals
▪︎4. Medications and treatment will cost.
And that's really challenging for any shelter home that during the COVID we also have to take care of the SCABBIES.
But it's a yes to Napolean and we mentally are prepared to shelter them.
♡ Big big thanks to Psi ( Mrs ) Rupali Govekar from Mapusa Police Station , who gets their paper work done, their Covid test and also gets these 2 men dropped to our home.
Without the Police support its impossible to help such homeless street people.
Infact Psi ( Mrs ) Rupali Govekar has in the last 10 days helped us to get about 5 such homeless men & woman off the streets of Mapusa city .
Very rarely I have observed a PSI following up religiously with us to assist the homeless to get shelter.
You need to be HUMANE to live humanity .
A big salute to Psi Rupali.
Yet to meet her as of date.
But she is very co operative to get the homeless of the streets.
There are more than 10 such men begging to get off the streets of Mapusa , all with SCABBIES but we just don't have the place.
Isolation is very important for any skin disease but we dont have separate rooms and separate toilets .
Surely God works in mysterious ways to provide me 1 big place to rehabilitate more homeless street men.
Support us in whatever way you wish.
We offer you income tax exemptions on all your donations under section 80G.

EXPLAINS HOW A KIND GESTURE 9 MONTHS BACK BY AN ELDERLY NUN BROUGHT LIFE AND JOY TO THIS POOR MAN.

10.11.2020 11am IST
♡ ” One who sows good seeds will always bring manifestation & produce good fruit ” ♡
STREET PROVIDENCE TRUST GOA how a kind gesture 9 months back by an elderly Nun brought life and joy to this poor man.
♡ Sr Maria from Fatima School Margao has been my benefactor and a well wisher for over a year now .
Sr Maria being an elderly Nun understands hunger & homelessness.
Sr Maria last year donated from her School 10 new beds , bedding and linen to our home at margao for the homeless street men.
Sr Maria has been sowing regularly with Street Providence her blessing in many forms.
Some where late Feb 2020 , Sr Maria spotted Santosh outside the steps of Grace church and requested me to help.
Picture attached.
She followed the procedure and we got Santosh off the streets and into our home.
Santosh is born polio in both legs but can walk comfortably with shoes .
☆ The point to note is HE HAS TO WEAR SHOES ON THE OPPOSITE LEG.
▪︎Right shoe on left leg.
▪︎Left shoe on right leg.
If he does not wear shoes or sandals his feet pain him alot.
☆ Video attached.
He got burnt when he was 1 year old and his hand and mouth got affected.
Due to no job he was begging on the streets.
Now Santosh works in our home and we are paying him a small stipend.
I assured Santosh to get him the best treatment to operate his hand as he wishes to have his hand operated.
Nice man , no bad vices at all .
Santosh wishes to have a normal life rather live on the streets .
Big thanks to Sr Maria for taking interest in this homeless man 9 months back and bringing joy and life back to Santosh.
