STREET PROVIDENCE TRUST GOA, congratulates
MR ROCKY from Goa Police on his promotion as ASSISTANT POLICE INSPECTOR.
Yes like Rocky, congratulations to all the other personnel who were promoted.
But Rocky sir is different.
Rocky sir has been quietly and consistently getting alot of homeless street men off the streets of Goa, especially around and from GMC hospital .
ASI Mr Rocky sir is incharge of the police outpost at GMC and he and his team are a big help to many homeless people.
In the last 3 years , more than 30 such men have reached our home only because
ASI Rocky & his team have been informing us about the same.
▪︎1. Homeless men reach GMC for treatment either thru 108 or by themselves
▪︎2. Once admitted and treated they need to go somewhere .
▪︎3. But there is no somewhere except back to the streets.
▪︎4. ASI Rocky & his team guide and send such homeless people to us .
▪︎5. ASI Rocky gets their NOC done .
▪︎6. There are at times ASI Rocky has personally dropped in to our homes to visit and see the care being given to the men who he has provided a shelter.
Attached a video of a goan amputated, diabetic and visually impaired man still alive only because of ASI ROCKY.
Mario Vaz from Cuncolim was operated & was amputated in 1 leg at GMC in mid 2018 and had no place to go after his discharge as he has no one in this world.
ASI Rocky steps in and brings him to our home.
Today if Mario is alive its because of
ASI Mr ROCKY.

Its possible we missed out on alot of such men like Mario Vaz as we were not informed or reported .
Like Mario there are more than 30 such men who have lived to see better days just because ASI Rocky felt humanity.
When u think of a police man or see a police man , what thoughts come to your mind ?
Here there is a police man who feels, lives and understand humanity & homelessness.
Your 1 call or your good intentions might be that only reason a homeless person sees a shelter home.
After 32 years of service & being in such a outpost where homelessness can be seen daily, I feel proud that Rocky has earned his promotion and I am sure all those 30 odd homeless men have and are praying for good health of ASI ROCKY .
God bless all the Goa police personal from so many different police stations of Goa who in the last 3 years have brought hundreds of such people to our homes from the streets.
You , your children and families will be blessed always by these homeless street people .
