FOOD BANK FOR THE POOR SANGOLDA GOA supported by NAVTARA GROUP OF RESTAURANTS, GOA is attempting to feed 1500+ meals on 29.9.2020 between 11.30am to 1pm .
Navtara , ” Pay it Forward food coupon ” started on 1.8.2020 has reached an unbelievable milestone as a result of your commitment and dedication.
On 29.9.2020 between 11.30 am to 1 pm , FOOD BANK along with our VOLUNTEERS is attempting to distribute and feed 1500 + meals packets across GOA.
Here is the details :
▪︎1. 600 packets to HIV+ individuals and their immediate families.
▪︎2. 650 packets to the poor goan families from the lower section on society.
▪︎3. 250 packets to old aged and senior citizens in 6 old aged homes in Bardez.
Food Dispatches from Navtara will be from these outlets :

We as the food bank have always worked and will always work with VOLUNTEERS.
Imagine in 90 minutes :
♡ 1500 packets of food moving,
♡ Covering entire GOA both rural & urban
♡ All through WhatsApp ,
♡ 5 outlets working tightly to meet the deadline ,
♡ Just 20 volunteers on the job .
I will be only co coordinating.
Have been requested to hold my nerves and my horses.

These meal coupons were originally to be used by us @ Street Providence to feed daily our meals to our homeless street men .
But strangely in the last 1 month , all our incharge are often telling me that food is coming in huge quantities from various places.
So we decided to give these food packets to those who might just be happy getting a warm prepacked meal .
