The above report is from NDTV published just less than a day Before of me writing this post.☝️☝️
I had visualized 3 months back the same point, which NDTV has highlighted .
Today is also Children's day and Fr Clifford Castellino has a nice message attached with this post both in English & Konkanni in his 2 videos👇👇
Today we will understand about festive sweets.
Sweets for festivals is to share the spirit of giving & to cheer up those especially when one is in camps.
We attempted to send 1000 boxes of sweets for Diwali but the frequent shut down is the issue.
But the team will distribute these sweets once it reaches Imphal.
For Christmas we are sending :
☆ 5000 boxes of Creamux Cookies &
☆ 5000 boxes of Regos Bebinca
☆ but the response is not encouraging and that is a sign that is not good.
Stocks had to be ordered in advance which we have done and all these stocks are in our office.
We have a credit period offered by both manufacturers but both their bills will need to be paid in due course of time.
Quite a good number asked me why send sweets and not ration ?
You and I all celebrate our festivals with sweets and as human beings it's ones duty to share that JOY with those who just might not have that facility.
One never knows when situations and circumstances can be reversed.
We feel the pain, despair , heart breaks , sickness, suffering etc of so many poor people either on TV or on social media platforms.
But pity & sympathy without food, clothing, medications is not going to get those suffering, any benefit.
To give Christmas Cookies & Bebinca for the displaced people in Camps we are just having time till 17.11.23.
Its an opportunity to be a blessing to those in the relief camps through our last appeal for Christmas Sweets , which can bring huge smiles and cheers to these displaced people across 30+ camps in Churachandpur.
You can contact us through whatsapp on 8380097564 and we will do the needful.
God bless you so much
