HEARS THE SILENT CRIES OF THIS LOST & HOMELESS ABANDONED LADY ( MIGHT BE SUFFERING FROM MENTAL DISABILITIES)

29.3.2023. 7Pm IST
STREET PROVIDENCE GOA HEARS the SILENT CRIES of this lost & homeless abandoned lady ( might be suffering from mental disabilities) and we open our shelter doors at 11.30 pm last night.
Quick response and good service from Goa Police @ Quepem Police Station, all within 4 hours flat, which resulted in this homeless lady getting off the streets of Quepem and into our home.
Lady is totally disoriented and not having much control over her mind as she keeps speaking different things when asked the same question.
No identity, no phone or no any papers with her to understand where and who she is .
Tomorrow morning will be taken to IPHB for an assessment.
Incase any one from QUEPEM / CURCHOREM seen her or know her please let us know.
Usually all are shelter homes and most other shelter homes wind up and lights off by 9.30 pm max 10 pm .
But we @ Street Providence especially the women's shelter home @ Cavelossim always gets requests after 11.30 pm and Sr Mariya our incharge is always enthusiastic to break her sleep,  open the doors and receive such homeless and abandoned Street women.
All our shelter homes accepts homeless people especially brought by the Police 24 *7 , timing not an issue and we understand that inspite of breaking our sleep we are much more comfortable in our Homes in our cozy beds and it's our commitment to open our shelter doors to such requests.
Infact I too stay awake whenever there is an admission late night as all our homes are on CCTV and I monitor each such late night admission on my phone which has close to 120 CCTVs running continously on my phone.
Just like the care giver breaks the sleep to admitt an admission I too break my sleep as that's my job to see that everything goes to the plan and there are no issues.
Our 8 homes have almost 120 cameras operating and that's how we keep track of the activities in the homes daily.
If you see such homeless people especially women on the streets please go to the nearest police station and meet the cops.
We are having Homes for both ladies & gents
We are in North & South Goa.
Tomorrow we have a hectic day , as we take in 4 homeless men from a government hospital.
Being close to the end of third financial year as well as we approach the last few days of LENT  we request you to support our work especially our rehabilitation of the homeless street people.
We offer you Income tax exemption under section 80G on your donations.
God bless you so much
