FOOD BANK FOR THE POOR , SANGOLDA GOA , is requesting your help to reach out to those affected by the recent flood in various parts of Goa and this drive is till the 7.8.21
Today we sent out our 1st truck with 400 crts of packaged drinking water to a village close to Dabal from our own NGO account.
It took us few days to put a team together and we have 14 points in Goa where you can go and donate the items attached with this post.
Mr Akash Pednekar from Curchorem, our volunteer and his team are identifying families in various parts of flood affected areas of 4 constituencies , who in the coming days these poor families will be needing help in various forms.
Incase anyone is giving clothes it should be only :
▪︎Shirts
▪︎Pants
▪︎T shirts
▪︎Sarees
▪︎Salwar kamees
▪︎Children clothes
▪︎Bedsheets
▪︎Towels
Please no fancy , western ladies clothes will be accepted.
Also no wedding suits , jackets, etc.
Clothes need to be :
▪︎washed
▪︎Ironed
▪︎Folded &
▪︎Packed in boxes not plastic bags.
The decision to accept these clothes is solely at the volunteer end , So Please No Arguments.
Along with clothes Please also give in equal proportion other items as specified in the poster .
No poor flood affected family wants only clothes but also basic ration, toiletries and other house hold items.
This drive is till 7.8.2021 .
If we will extend it then we will inform through social media.

You can also donate only through Cheques / NEFT.
We don't accept cash neither will any of our volunteers ask you for cash.
We offer you 50% income tax exemption under section 80G on your donations.
