WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO ACQUIRE THAT FROZEN FOOD CONTAINER

18.3.24. 10 pm IST
In all my STORMS , I just ” try ” to sit quite and move through the STORM &  Its always in my troubles that GOD sends an angel to help me navigate & sail through my STORM.
Few days back out of no where I received a call
“send your papers we got a donation to give you under CSR inniative “.
The caller identified himself, his company and the amount they wish to donate under CSR which was say ” Rs Z “.
Now about 2 month back we had asked donations for 10 new fridges which we were to install in top 10 factories in Verna and we got the donations and even installed the fridges.
Due to issues with WCD regarding our grants we are going slow on starting this food project from factories.
But back on my mind many thoughts going on and one thought was ” if only I had a frozen food Vehicle to collect all this food daily “.
Although the factories are ready to start in donating their extra canteen food yet I am not ready.
Mind you , it's taken me 3 full years to get this idea moving and almost 4 full months to convince these top 10 companies :
◇ 1. to install our fridge ,
◇ 2. donate their extra food &
◇ 3. Pay us a monthly charge to pick this food.
& With full support of Factory and boilers dept :
1. Secretary, Shri Sanjit Rodrigues, IAS &
2. Chief Inspector , Shri Anant Pangam
everything is ready, agreed, committed and given.
Infact 3 factories managers inquired why I am not starting the project.
But I need that frozen vehicle to start this project as then only I am at peace as we will be maintaing a complete cold chain cycle ie
》Food in the fridge @ Factory TO food Vehicle &
》Food in food vehicle TO our kitchen.
So I go to this COMPANY on the day I was called to discuss the CSR donation and the meeting started on a positive note.
But slowly all present in the room that day understood each other & I expressed my desire to buy a frozen Food Vehicle to run this project.
With The Grace of GOD, both Directors immediately agreed to my request and on the spot increased the donation 4 times to the original agreed donation which we had on the phone initially under their CSR inniative.(Rs Z ×4)
It was like ” A HUGE MIRACLE ” in ONE of the STORMS I am going through.
Now to run a frozen food bank Vehicle there are two parts :
☆ 1. A new Vehicle – which we have bought from ISUZU through the donation of this company under CSR &

☆ 2. A frozen container with a compressor, which needs to be fitted separately on this Vehicle which has temperature between minus 2 degrees to 4 degrees.
” And NOW we need help to purchase this Frozen container and install the same on this new vehicle “
The load that this entire ISUZU vehicle can take is officially 1700 kgs .
By we acquiring this frozen vehicle we can daily collect and move 1500 kgs of fresh cooked extra food from anywhere in Goa to those in need of food without any risk of the food getting contaminated.
Currently we accept 500 kgs of cooked food daily through our running food bank program enough to feed 1000 + meals daily after deducting spoilage and un consumable food.
With this new frozen Vehicle we are now in a  Position to scale up our food collection to :
》2000 kgs a day / 2 tonnes a day
》60000 kgs a month / 60 tonnes a month
》720000 kgs a year / 720 tonnes a year.
That means alot of good Cooked food which gets wasted will be reduced and this can be used to feed the poor.
We are also expanding shelter homes just across the borders of Goa – Maharashtra & Karnataka as well as adding more shelter Homes in Goa.
Naturally food costs will be reduced in these Homes by using this frozen vehicle to move extra cooked food collected in Goa to these homes.
If any company under CSR can help us acquire this frozen container or if you reading this post wish to support us please let me know.
Once we implement this project in GOA of collecting food from factories, we intend to run this similar projects in Other states which has big industrial Estates & where our shelter homes are located, as poverty is across different states and feeding the poor is what A FOOD BANK is all about.
We are the only FOOD BANK IN INDIA running :
☆ 1.food bank fridges in POLICE STATIONS,
☆ 2.food fridges IN FACTORIES,
☆ 3.receiving weekly food from Hon Governor.
We need your support to acquire that Frozen food container.
We will officially let you know the name of the big company which donated the ISUZU vehicle in the month of April 24 .
A big thanks to This COMPANY who donated this food bank truck for a genuine cause.

HONOURABLE GOVERNOR OF GOA , SHRI P.S. SREEDHARAN PILLAI , STEPS IN WITH A FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

16.3.2024. 11am IST
Honourable Governor of Goa , Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai , steps in with a financial assistance, which enables us to keep our women's shelter homes open for a few more days.
♡♡♡ We @ Street Providence thank The Hon Governor of Goa for quickly stepping In and providing much needed financial assistance to our women shelter Homes caring for 60 poor Goan women suffering from chronic mental disabilities.
While on the other hand , the insensitive WCD officials can't even respect the orders of The CM of Goa who just 4 days ago instructed the department to release our grants –
》A. One home for 22-23 @ Rs 2500/ lady.
》B. One home for 23-24 @ Rs 5000/ lady.
As of today, it's the Code of Conduct & we are yet to receive our grants which will make us rethink about caring for these 60 poor goan ladies with mental disabilities.
Last fee weeks we have been hitting the streets of Goa, highlighting the utter failure of The WCD officials towards the grants not released in time inspite of our documents being submitted in time.
This protests and agitations must have reached the Ears of The Hon Governor of Goa who 3 days back accepted our application for financial assistance and bang with 3 working days we received The Hon Governor financial assistance.
♡♡♡ Thanks to :
Shri V. Borkar IPS ( ADC to Governor ) &
Shri A.K.Harsha ( Comptroller )
These two officials are more of a friend & sympathizer to these poor goans ladies suffering from chronic mental disabilities in our shelter homes,  which enabled us to get this much needed financial assistance ” all within 3 days “.
Hon Governor of Goa has been providing 100 fresh cooked meals to our shelter homes every week for over 16 months now and counting.
Previously about 2 years back, The Hon Governor of Goa had also provided a huge Financial assistance to our NGO.
Recently The Hon Governor birthday was celebrated in one of our Women shelter home by First Lady Adv ( Smt ) i Reetha  Sreedharan , The Governor wife, which was followed up by a visit by 30 ladies from out homes to The Raj Bhavan for a short get together with The First lady.
It just baffles me that The WCD is an :
all women department
headed by Lady Director whose
Deputy Director is a lady and
70% Staff are ladies and
yet these ladies are like STONE HEARTED that they can't ” See, Hear , Feel & Understand ” how fellow poor goan ladies are suffering while these officials just sit in their chairs dwindling their thumbs.
♡♡♡ Big Thanks To The First Lady Adv ( Smt ) Reetha Sreedharan for all the support and understanding towards our shelter home poor goan women suffering from chronic mental disabilities.
It speaks volumes of how The Raj Bhavan Goa is hearing the silent cries of the poor goan women suffering from mental disabilities while The WCD department is ignoring the orders of The Hon CM Of GOA.
For the moment we will be keeping the ladies shelter homes open and running as The Hon CM Of Goa is not keen that we shut down the Homes and we respect his sentiments.
But The Hon CM of Goa needs to get his administration to compete with The Hon Governor of Goa who has moved very fast through the Same accounts dept headed by The CM Of Goa who is the finance minister.
Unless I am missing something i am still scratching my head why the 2 grants authorized by The Hon CM of Goa to The WCD department is not yet released to our NGO as of this morning.

WE ADMITTED A VERY POOR GOAN GIRL, BSc IN CHEMISTRY, HIGHLY INTELLIGENT BUT SUFFERING FROM PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIA

14.3.2024  8 pm IST
Recently we admitted a Very poor Goan girl, BSc in Chemistry, highly intelligent but suffering from Paranoid Schizophrenia.
Lives in a Home which is slum like situation & her only living Goan parent is also Paranoid Schizophrenia who we will be admitting into our home after treatment at the IPHB.
Both this girl & her parent are patients of IPHB so cross verification can be done to see the truth. Simply I don't write anything
Director & Deputy Director @ Women & Child Dept, both ladies should hang their heads in Shame.
Many like this girl get admitted into IPHB for few weeks, discharged , go home, don't take medicine , lose their mind, again get admitted into IPHB , same story.
Why ? Because there is just no one to give them their psychiatric medication and no one to even give them proper food & care.
People back home call them all nasty names , make fun of them , ignore them which pushes them into a shell and they go again into depression by just sitting in their Homes crying.
But crying to whom ? All complicated.
These poor goan ladies want to be normal like you and me but it's just not possible as society looks the other side.
Big time Failure of the Government of Goa as they have no homes for poor goans suffering from mental disabilities to care for them.
Our homes are the only Shelter homes across Goa but it's a total SHAM that all departments should be pulled up for not releasing our grants when we are struggling to take in each and every one who needs that hand.
All departments are sleeping like :
☆ 1.Women & child dept
☆ 2.Social Welfare dept & now a new one
☆ 3.Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
How are they sleeping?
Because they know that homes are required but still they just don't provide in the budget money to pay NGOs like us who do the dirty work of the Government.
Simply i am not shouting and getting upset.
I can produce a list of 100 such poor goan ladies living in FREAKING pathetic conditions and no help at all.
Where and how does girls & ladies like this get help to live in dignity ?
Our Hon Prime Minister should look into this and hold all these officials responsible.
Simply declaring schemes for the ladies in Delhi is no use , it's not reaching Goa at all.
I have a ready list of all such schemes which are declared , advertised and publicity is given but in reality ” ZERO”.
There is one central government scheme called E – Anudan ( look up pls )
This scheme is for 20 psychiatric patients & it provides Rs 88000 a year to an NGO to employ a Psychiatrist to come these patients twice a week.
In reality it's like this :
》Rs 88000 / 12 months = Rs 7333 / month

》Rs 7333 / 20 patients = Rs 366 per patient.
Will Any Psychiatrist ever visit a home in his car and his petrol for Rs 366 a patient.
And guess what NGO who applies for this grant will never ever be sure to get this money even after 2 years of submitting all the bills.
These schemes are freaking outdated but yet Government of India is advertising and pushing us to apply.
Absolutely total carelessness & insensitive approach to poor goan ladies suffering from mental disabilities due to poverty and pushed into a corner by all the Government departments.
This ignorance and looking the other side approach has to stop.
Girls & ladies are suffering from disabilities both mental & intellectual big time and its increasing daily in Goa and the only solution is shelter Homes.
We are currently holding 63 ladies in our 6  homes of which 55 are local goans and 56 are on psychiatric medication with a valid IPHB prescription.
Also we have another 29 more Poor Goan ladies either already admitted in IPHB or taking treatment at IPHB who are to be admitted into our homes.
By June 2024 end we estimate to have under our care 100 poor goan psychiatric ladies in our homes but where is the Government funding?
Most of these psychiatric goan ladies will never ever recover to lead a normal life and their sickness is so intense that their end  will be in a shelter home due to psychiatric medication.
Or they will be living on streets like vagabonds either to be condemned and made fun of by the public or they will be exploited again and again till they commit suicide or are mutilated.
I am running out of patience and it's very irritating to see how The Government is just not listening to the SILENT cries of these poor goan ladies.
We need funds through your donations and also if possible from companies under CSR as we have all valid documents to provide those who give donations under CSR.
We need to do the little we can to bring smiles and to infuse new life into our own poor Goans ladies who just have no place to go.
Togther we can do it .
WE DARE TO DREAM.

ON WOMEN’S INTERNATIONAL DAY WERE REUNITED THIS ELDERLY 80 YEAR OLD LADY WITH HER FAMILY AFTER OVER 18 MONTHS OF SHE BEING MISSING.

12.3.2024. 7pm IST
Remember when u see a lady beggar on the streets it could be some one mother, mother in law, grandmother, sister , daughter , aunt , etc .
On 8th March 2024 , Women's International Day we reunited this elderly 80 year old lady with her family after over 18 months of she being missing.
Last year 3rd March 2023 , we took in this elderly lady ” Venkataramanaya ” from Chicalim health centre as she was treated for wounds in her back.
She was brought from her village in Karnataka  for begging without telling her family and hammered and hit in Goa as she just could not get alms while begging.
As she old and useless she was abandoned on the streets of Goa.
Biggest problem ” language ” . She speaks only Telugu.
Anyway we took her into our home on a walker and she use to be on a wheel chair and in 2 months we managed to reduce her wounds and she regain her strength by providing her Physiotherapy.
Just 3 weeks back we understood that she has to go back from where ever she came and so we used the Chicalim Health Centre staff who speaks telugu to help us.
Thru social media medium ie facebook an appeal was put out & we tracked her family who within 48 hours reached Goa and took her back.
Her 2 daughter, her son & the in laws all came to take their mother back.
They searched both in Telagana , Andra & Karnataka for many months but gave up assuming she was dead.
We feel their happiness and joy as well as we are relieved to have sent one beggar from Goa back home to her family.
Goa administration should take a clue from us and work with us if they wish to reduce the beggars on the streets of Goa.
Most of the beggars on the streets want to go back home but are trapped here in Goa due to the language issue, poverty, bonded labour etc.
So next time you shoo away or shout at a beggar, remember they are forced into begging and
We not only rehabilitate and care for homeless women on the streets but we also attempt to find their families but most of the time its next to impossible to locate their families or its requires alot of time.

A 48 YEAR OLD MAN WHO HAS BEEN WHEEL CHAIR BOUND FOR 7 years HAS BEEN TAKEN INTO OUR SHELTER HOMES TODAY FROM TUEM HEALTH CENTRE , PERNEM

9.3.2024. 8pm IST
A 48 year old man who has been wheel chair bound for 7 years has been taken into our shelter home today from TUEM HEALTH CENTRE , Pernem.
Mr Harshad suffers from Chronic Arthritis , has prostrate , is on a catheter & very weak, undernourished and is in a hospital.
The suffering is so severe that the fingers on both his hands are curled up inside making his grip next to impossible on anything he wishes to hold on for long.
Wife has been looking after him and bringing him last few years on wheel chair to this hospital for regular treatment.
45 days back, she told Harshad she has cancer and is going to stay with her sister in Polem, Canacona.
So basically he is an abandoned PERSON WITH DISABILITIES and this matter should have been looked into by Social Welfare dept & The DISABILITIES Commissioner.
Irony is ” non of these departments ” have a single home to admitt such Chronic case who are abandoned, suffering with disabilites when there is NEED OF THE HOUR for PALLATIVE CARE HOMES.
As usual call STREET PROVIDENCE.
Dr Anil, is the newly appointed Incharge of the hospital and he has a heart of Gold and asked us to rehabilitate.
This afternoon we took Harshad into our home.👇👇
Wife dropped all his belonging in the hospital before locking the house and it looks like it's no going back for him as it's going to be difficult as of now for him to walk in the situation he is.
But we will attempt and put In our best effort through our rehabilitation program where all such types of cases are able to get back to their feet.
Most of our wheel bound admissions have recovered and left our Home walking fit and fine.
Its the season of LENT and I take all such opportunities to atleast attempt to bring relief and provide care to such terrible and disappointing situations faced by the poorest of the poor.
LENT to me is not about fasting / sacrifice  but to me its about bringing that joy and life to the poorest of the poor with sickness just as Christ resurrection brings eternal life.
Does our State have any facilities for such poor people who are abandoned due to disabilites ?
Does anyone recollect any such Homes in Goa who will admitt such patients on wheel chairs without a single charge?
Does The Government have a responsibility towards such sad and disappointing cases of people being abandoned due to disabilites & poverty ?
I require answers which i am waiting.
But till then Harshad has a clean bed , warm food, medication and a family in our shelter Home to cheer him up.
It's going to be difficult & complicated to get Harshad up and standing
But WE DARE TO DREAM.

LATE LAST NIGHT WE TOOK IN A HOMELESS LADY BROUGHT IN BY GOA POLICE @ PERNEM POLICE STATION ON THE EVE OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

8.3.2024. 11am
Late Last night 7.3.24 , we took in a homeless lady brought in by Goa Police @ Pernem police station on The eve of International women day.
Today is “INTERNATIONAL WOMEN DAY “
These big terminology is not at all for the poorest of the poor goan women suffering disabilities and Iiving on the streets.
We are the only NGO in GOA , caring and rehabilitating homeless street women & women suffering from all types of disabilities & sicknesses , of all ages & our homes are open 24*7 to all ie :
☆ Goa Police,
☆ CWC ( provided all documentation is ok),
☆ WCD ( as we are registered with them ),
☆ Government hospitals,
☆ IPHB.
But yet we are not paid our dues by WCD in time and as per the current year but it's at 2007 rate which is peanuts especially as all our ladies inmates are suffering from chronic mental disabilities and all are patients of IPHB.
7th March was the last day to clear our pending dues and on 6th March we were promised and assured by The Secretary that he has signed the file for 2 homes including one home which is being paid @ Rs 2500 per inmate per month = Rs 83 per day or 1$ per day, for 22-23 , to look after psychiatric women.
But again money not credited and stupid excuses raised just to avoid paying.
And then at 9 pm we are requested to take in this homeless lady from Pernem police.
The lady has been roaming around pernem last 2-3 days.
First of all I am all boiling with frustration & disappointment and these police are calling and requesting.
We are human beings with a heart of humanity and we said yes and accepted.
We wanted to refuse, but that's then my personal frustration being taken out on this poor homeless lady which is not right on my part.
By denying a bed to a homeless lady on the streets is not humane at all even when WCD is in SLEEP MODE.
This is WCD problem not my problem.
By law this lady has to 1st go to The One Stop Centre home which is a central government home under WCD.
But when Pernem police called One Stop Centre , they Said they have no place.
Which is a joke and can't be possible.
Why ?
Can it be possible that One Stop Centre is also not paid their dues for long like us ?
And if one Stop Centre has place then please take all these ladies to both these Centres.
So we have WCD not paying in time :
♧ 1. One Stop Centre ( may be ).
♧ 2. Street Providence shelter Homes ,
♧ 3. And who else who knows.
Now where does one expect Goa Police to admit such ladies found on the streets?
Is Goa Police having shelter Home ? NO.
So in this scenario the responsibility is on WCD, but they are not bothered.
The lady is very tired, stressed, hungry, disappointed and gone into a shell.
I am sure that her mental health assessment was not done at all by Pernem police inspite of The Mental Health Review Board sending a notice to both The SP @ Goa Police.
So we as an NGO have to :
》Take her in by disturbing our sleep,
》Take her to hospital
》Do her evaluation,
》Buy her medication,
》Feed her ,
》Provide her all the services ,
》Make her life comfortable.
And who will pay the bills ?
And at what rate? @ Rs 2500 / Rs 5000.
Are we the GOVERNMENT?
Are we the WCD ?
No.
We are just a very small NGO but having 240 beds of which 180 are always occupied in our 10 homes.
Nothing comes free.
It's time to either shut us down in total & take away all the 180 inmates in one day or pay us our dues and that too at 23-24 rate which was promised by THE Hon CM of Goa when we met him on 26.12.23 with The WCD Director & DD of WCD.
It's a big joke ” THE WCD has fooled THE Hon CM of Goa , by claiming on 26.12.23 , that the new rates of the grant are calculated and will be paid before 7.3.24 along with all our old two years dues.”
These WCD officials got real guts to hoodwink THE Hon CM of GOA in his office and now not pay us what was promised.
You pay us or don't pay us, till we are open and running we will accept anyone in need of Shelter, food and care but only brought in by The Goa Police.
The day we call it quits ” you will find 180 people either @
◇ The CM Bungalow or
◇ THE WCD officials Bungalows or
◇ The North & South Collector offices.
This cat & mouse games has to stop.
The administration has failed @ WCD & THE Hon CM of GOA needs to act quickly and efficiently.

Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed benefactors, friends and cherished supporters,
I stand before you today with a heart brimming with gratitude and humility as we accepted the prestigious Community Impact Leadership Award.
This honor is not just a recognition of our efforts but a testament to the collective dedication of every individual who has contributed to our NGO's mission of ENDUNG HUNGER AND HOMELESSNESS.
First and foremost, I extend my deepest thanks to Herald group for selcting our NGO as the recipient of the Award in the Category COMMUNITY IMPACT LEADERSHIP AWARD.

Thank you, from the depths of our hearts, for this incredible honor and for being a crucial part of our shared mission to make the world a better place for all.
An award is always looked forward to by one and all and everyone likes awards.
On 3rd March 2024 , OUR NGO was awarded an award under ” COMMUNITY IMPACT LEADERSHIP ” organized by
O HERALDO @ Enterprise Excellence awards, held at Planet Hollywood.
This award is special as Usually our NGO never gets awards and there is a reason why ?  We never applied for awards.
In the last 5 to 7 years, awards are acquired by many through these ways:
☆ 1. One has to pay the organizers a certain sum of money, a function is organized & you get an award.

☆ 2. One is through political pressure.

☆ 3. Latest trend , you nominate yourself for an award which is advertised and then you get family , friends, their friends to vote for you through the app and this goes on and on.
I have refrained my self from all the above last many years as I belive in service.
But at The Community Impact Leadership Award , I did not even know about this trending.
I was nominated by some silent well wishers when these awards were published on The newspapers in February.
And I sincerely thank all those who nominated me quietly.
Then our nomination went to the jury who evaluated our work and rest you know.
This is how we prefer to get an award.
Every month last so many years I get calls and requests to apply for awards which I just laugh over and move on.
THANK YOU.

WOUNDED MAN WITH FLESH OF ONE LEG TOTALLY EXPOSED SLEEPING INFRONT ON THE MAIN ROAD OF GMC SUPER SPECIALITY BLOCK FOR DAYS

1.3.2024. 7pm IST
Wounded man with flesh of one leg totally exposed sleeping infront on the main road of GMC Super Speciality Block for days and suffering from Chronic disabilities.
Yet all were totally blind that no one helped him until we stepped in today after many days.
Early morning a concerned MLA called me requesting to help this man.
Thank God The MLA had faith that we will help this man when Everyone just failed him.
At 4 pm our team and Goa Police personal @ Agassiam Police reached the spot bang on the turn which goes into the hospital. 👇
We change his clothes and took him to our home at Assnora where he was given a hot bath, a hair cut , shaved and his badly eaten up / half exposed leg where one can see his bone was cleant and bandaged.
One horrible instance of total inhumane act of ignoring this man when the hospital is right in front of him.
Imagine how many Big Doctors, Junior Doctors, nurses , Staff , general public went in and out of that hospital last few days.
MHAKA KITYAK PODLA. (Why am I bothered).
Let the NGO come and do this work.
But who is paying the NGO to do this work which The Government should be doing?
Inspite of our grumbling , disappointment and so many issues with The Health & The WCD departments , we yet took this man into our home.
We could have refused to pick this man up as he is bang infront of GMC Super Speciality block and its the hospital courtesy to atleast dress his wound.
But we will never deny any services to any homeless irrespective of how horrible and terrible their medical condition is, when we can do a little to ease their pain.
We will keep doing our services towards the homeless and the poor , but we will fight and highlight the faults of all departments who avoid their responsibilities.
Government departments will try to give explanations and avoid giving services and grants to our NGO and we will go on fighting and highliting these issues but in the end ITS THESE POOR ELDERLY SENIOR CITIZENS WITH DISABILITIES who suffer for no fault of theirs.
Today we did the best we could even though it's going to cost us a bomb to fix that entire eaten up / chew up / messed up leg  ( God only knows how that wound is so big and totally rotting & Smelling leg ).
We have a right to demand for DHS & IPHB Doctors at our door step as this is the reason.
It's not our job but the Government Job to care and treat such poor Senior citizens with disabilities on the streets.
NGOs come into the picture when The Government fails and its time The Government takes note of this failure on their part and gives us medical facility in our homes otherwise
HOW IN HEAVEN SAKE r WE TO CARE FOR SUCH PATHETIC & HORRIBLE cases of people living and sleeping on the streets with wounds and in their own feaces.
To The Ministers and officials of any Government dept who takes offense to our posts ” remember its your job and responsibility to do what we are doing “.
Either you'll do or we do.
We are doing a Service and you as The Ministers and officials should help us to your job.
Nothing comes free in this World.
The Ministers and Officials get SALARIES.
We depend on donations and Grant's from the Government which at times is denied to us due to Careless attitude of The officials whom these Ministers don't pull up.
On Monday ie 4th March 2024 at 10 am , we are taking a huge delegation of people with disabilites from all our homes to The Office Of The Commissioner for Persons With Disabilities @ Porvorim ( opp Delfino Super Market ) , to highlight how these people with disabilites are suffering and its their right to get medical facilities in our shelter homes .
Its getting bad to worse as too many homeless on the streets and The Government is just not showing any concern on this point.
See the rising no of murders , rapes , robberies, begging etc in Goa , but who cares.
Today I sleep well and sound. I did my part inspite of being denied my grants.
This is my LENT.
Tomorrow is a new day and we start our fight agian tomorrow and on Monday.
These fights are life long as NGO will always claim Government is not supporting enough.
Government will just ignore and sit quite saying “Let him shout , it makes no difference, ultimately he will still take in such poor people “.
We have a FOOL PROOF PLAN to take off atleast 500 such people every month from the streets but not at our costs but is The Government interested ?
Please help us foot the bills of this man who will need alot of hospital trips up and down daily for dressing and surgery and medication.
All queries through whatsapp messages only on 8380097564.
God bless you so much

Which implies she is being taken advantage off due to her mental Disabilities & poverty.
What would you do ?
I will give you the options :
A. Call the police
B. Call One Stop Centre
C. Call CWC / WCD
D. Call Street Providence
E. Get her admitted into IPHB / GMC
F. Call Disability Commissioner
G. Just walk away and say this is not my issue.
Now I will Explain how each one works :
A. Police
They will / might respond and either call One Stop Centre or admitt into IPHB for treatment, to stabilise or into GMC for delivery of the baby and once delivery over , she will go back to the same situation on the streets. Or CALL Street Providence.
B. One stop Centre
This is a temporary shelter for just 7 days till some arrangements are made out but since it's too complicated they too can't do much but CALL Street Providence.
 C.  WCD / CWC
CWC will give this baby for adoption thru CARA & the mother is not their concern so again gone back to the same situation to be re exploited.

WCD – they will say direct this matter to One Stop centre or say this is not our concern.
D. Street Providence
All and everyone is welcome and admitted into our home where WCD has to fund such homes.
E. GMC / IPHB
Once admitted either into GMC / IPHB its only to deliver the baby @ GMC or IPHB to stabilise the mental disabilities.
They can admitt to PROVEDORIA Homes.
F. Disability Commissioner
This is their job to solve such issues but they just don't have any shelter homes so send to Street Providence.
G. What most of do – just walk away.
Well this Goan lady was recommended to me from IPHB , 2 years back , pregnant and about to deliver in few days and I was told that she still has 2 months to deliver but with 2 days she delivered a boy and it got routed to CWC who did the adoption.
In the last 2 years we have re admitted her into IPHB more than 5 to 6 times as she gets very volatile and aggressive.
Today she is in IPHB. Has to be discharged.
We are in a dilema whether to take her back or ask the IPHB to send her home where she has a bed ridden mother in poverty.
Recently she assaulted the care giver very badly.
If she is sent back, the same problem of getting pregnant will arise and again she will lose her mind and Have to get her re- admitted into IPHB.
In this scenario what is the role of WCD & The Disability Commissioner for such goan poor ladies with Disabilities.
This is not just one case in isolation.
There are many many such cases and most remain exploited, deliver the child , either get killed or commit suicide or just put on some train and sent to now where
And then all Condemnation starts like :
Into prostitution,
Loose character ,
Deserves such death,
Etc.
To pass judgment is God's job.
Did u and I do anything for these ladies while they were alive and in bondage ?
Then don't condemn when dead.
The Whole Sytem is anti poor especially towards woman with disabilities.
All just wash their hands off starting from WCD.
(& it's time The Disability Commissioner steps in)
Why ?
Because they refuse to do justice to the job that they have been entrusted too.
They refuse to understand that they have the power to do good to these types of poor ladies but they have this attitude ” I CARE A DAMN”.
They have all the money but totally UNHAPPY & that unhappiness is written on their face.
They know only one thing – ” what r u giving me “.
But on the other hand in the last 7 years I have observed another set of officers who are committed to their job and they go out of their way to help these types of poor ladies.
Their families are blessed, their children are doing well , one can see the smile and happiness in these officers lives 24×7.
I always tell Directors / Doctors/ Police Inspectors / officers / clerks on their face :
Either perform and take the spiritual blessings of the poor or
Accumulate the poor goan ladies tears and hurts and see how you and your family get affected.
I am in the near future writing two books :
☆ 1. The most loved officers of Goa &
☆ 2. Officers who messed up their own lives.
Today it's getting bad to worse and no one , absolutely no one is aware what and how to do to address this freaking issue of poor goan women suffering from mental disabilities.
On the Top of this WCD is sleeping peacefully not bothered at all about this suffering that our poor goan ladies are going through.
We have 60 such ladies with chronic mental disabilities in our homes and another 32 + poor goans who are in IPHB or are on their way to IPHB for getting stabilised and then for care to our homes.
My frustration and disappointment starts @ WCD and goes up to IPHB as these are the 2 major players who can either change the situation for the good or we just get sucked deeper and deeper into this big black hole of more and more poor goan ladies suffering from mental disabilities reaching now where but only STREET PROVIDENCE.
What is our view to ease this situation:
Release our funds in time @ WCD &
Provide us psychiatrists at our homes @ IPHB.
All communications strictly through whatsapp messages only on 8380097564
God bless you all

NGO IDENTIFIES WORST 60 GOAN CASES ON STREETS EXILED BY GOANS + 30 MORE SUCH LADIES ARE DUE FOR ADMISSION

28.2.2024. 2 pm IST
From once being called GHANTI to now ATMA NIRBHAR.  A ethnic Goan lady recovery.
This is how our Hon PM dreams are translated into reality.
THE PRIORITY OF SEVERLY UNDERPRIVILEDGED GOANS FAILED BY Department @ Women & Child, Goa.
NGO IDENTIFIES WORST 60 GOAN CASES ON STREETS EXILED BY GOANS + 30 more such ladies are due for admission once THE CM of GOA delivers on his promise and gives us our dues for 2023 – 2024.
ONE AMONG WHOM TEACHES US A LESSON IN BEING ATMA NIRBHAR WITH HALF A MIND :
》☆ Ousted by Goan society, possibly called ghanti, highly diabetic with both amputated feet,
on psychiatric medication, malnourished and abused on the streets, hence troubled with aggressive impulses, yet with a heart to help.
An inmate of Street Providence, her story can reveal how even for a person with such severe disabilities, it is possible to become Atma Nirbhar.
On 15.2.24 we had highlighted this Goan lady assumed to be a Ghanti as she was living on the streets for years picking up waste.
All she needed was a shelter home with some care and some medications to keep her in a state where she can literally inspire.
Employing creative ways to keep mentally disabled patients occupied, Care Givers at Street Providence, with just simple care and affection have managed to turn the lives of this and more people.
Being Atma Nirbhar and supporting one to be so, now looks simpler thanks to the person in this video as she responds to Donald Fernandes.
With only Rs. 2500 to Rs 5000 per month coming from the state for each of such cases, maybe its time we demand our tax payer money goes to the right causes like this.
Here, the NGO seems to have identified some of the worst of Goan cases and have sheltered them numbering about 60.
This figure is bound to grow sooner than soon, mention officials from this NGO and more.
The question is, DO WE DARE TO CARE FOR OUR VERY OWN GOANS ?
Daily in all our 6 women homes, various Vocational training takes place through different programs and this KNITTING keeps their mind connected to their fingers and ultimately their psychiatric medication intake keeps reducing.
Despite the costs to occupy their minds rising daily with so many activities, yet we see the Joy and we feel their desire to find their purpose in life.
If only the Department @ WCD understands ie  :
☆ THE MINISTER
☆ THE DIRECTOR
☆ THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR
☆ THE ENTIRE STAFF
Remember this elderly goan lady was once for over two full years picking up bottles and living like a vagabond on the streets of Margao.
Today we have managed to break her bondage and set her free with daily medication and she has turned out to be a teacher to the other ladies in this shelter Home.
So the next time you see a lady rag picker in Goa and you assume she is a Ghanti , relax – you could be wrong, it could be a ethnic Goan.
God bless you so much
